Spring marks the beginning of good weather in Salou and Cambrils. The sun begins to shine in a special way and the streets are filled with people who want to enjoy the good weather. In addition, Easter, which is the first break of the year after winter, is the ideal time to hold tournaments at our facilities.
Why should I hold a tournament at the Mediterranean Sports Hub?
Although spring officially begins at the end of March, in April the Mediterranean Sports Hub facilities are filled with sporting activity. In just one month, we have hosted a total of six tournaments: from a flag football tournament, to youth football tournaments with more than 7,500 participants. Why are we the preferred destination for organizers to hold their tournaments at our facilities?
1. We have the best sports facilities in Europe
At Mediterranean Sports Hub we have one of the largest sports facilities in Europe with a total of 15 football fields, including seven artificial turf fields, four of natural grass, a Mini stadium with capacity for a thousand people, two beach football fields and a rugby field. All of them, with changing rooms, gym, meeting rooms and classrooms among many other services.
2. We have our own Resort to accommodate athletes
A few meters from the football fields, Mediterranean Sports Hub has a private 4* Superior Resort with private accommodation and services for athletes such as spa, gym, swimming pools and a buffet, among others. What more could you ask for?
3. We have a Mediterranean climate, the best for outdoor sports
In the heart of the Costa Daurada, between Cambrils and Salou, the climate and temperature are pleasant throughout the year. This makes it a perfect location for outdoor sports throughout the year. But when spring and the Easter holidays arrive... that's the ideal time to hold tournaments.
4. We have the ideal environment to enjoy sports, leisure and culture in a single trip
Mediterranean Sports Hub is located just 1 hour from Barcelona, 15 minutes from the cities of Tarragona or Reus and less than half an hour from the mountains of the Costa Daurada. A privileged environment to enjoy both nature and leisure and cultural activities, such as a visit to the Camp Nou or an adrenaline-pumping day at the Port Aventura attraction Park.
